Plate and frame filter press
Plate and frame filter press is a solid-liquid separation equipment based on the principle of physical compression filtration, and is widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food processing and sewage treatment fields. Its core features include high-efficiency filtration driving force, high solid content filter cake and low liquid pollution, and it is especially suitable for treating high specific resistance sludge or scenes requiring high solid recovery rate.
Compressing the filter plate: The hydraulic system pushes the filter plate and the filter frame to be closely arranged to form a closed filtering space.
Feed filtration: The suspension enters the filter frame through the feed pump, the solid particles are intercepted by the filter cloth, and the liquid (filtrate) is discharged through the filter plate guide hole.
Pressing and dehydration (optional): Some equipment adds a diaphragm pressing function to inflate air/water into the filter plate, further compressing the filter cake to reduce the moisture content.
Unloading: Loosen the filter plate, the filter cake falls off due to its own weight, or unload with the assistance of vibration.
Chemical industry: used for solid-liquid separation in the production process of fertilizers, pigments, dyes, coatings, pharmaceuticals, etc., such as filtration and purification of products such as barium sulfate and calcium carbonate.
Food industry: used to remove impurities and clarify liquids in the production of juice, wine, edible oil, starch, sugar, etc., such as filtration of wine, dehydration of starch milk, etc.
Mining: used for dehydration of ore and separation of concentrates, such as separation of solids and liquids in the slurry during the beneficiation of copper ore, iron ore, gold ore, etc., to improve the grade of the ore.
Environmental protection field: widely used in urban sewage treatment plants and industrial wastewater treatment, dehydration of sludge, reduction of sludge water content, and convenience for subsequent transportation and disposal.
