Product Introduction

The core purpose of quartz ore beneficiation is: impurity removal and purification → increasing SiO₂ purity → meeting industrial/photovoltaic/electronic/glass grade standards. The entire production line generally consists of: crushing → sand making/grinding → washing and desliming → classification → magnetic separation → flotation → acid washing/calcination → dehydration and drying → finished product.

Applicable raw materials:
Common quartzite, vein quartz, quartz sand
Impurities: Mica, feldspar, iron, mud, magnetite, limonite, aluminum minerals, etc.

Process flow:
Coarse/medium crushing equipment: Jaw crusher, cone crusher. Function: To break large quartz pieces into smaller stones.
Sand making/grinding equipment: Sand making machine, ball mill. Function: To obtain quartz sand/quartz powder of the desired particle size.
Ore washing and desliming equipment: Spiral sand washer, wheel sand washer, hydrocyclone, dewatering screen. Function: Washes away mud and dust to prevent interference with subsequent beneficiation.
Particle size classification equipment: Vibrating screen, hydrocyclone. Function: Separates sand into coarse, medium, and fine grades.
Magnetic separation and iron removal equipment: High-gradient magnetic separator (crucial for iron removal in quartz). Function: Removes magnetic/weakly magnetic iron impurities, significantly improving whiteness.
Flotation (feldspar and mica removal) equipment: Flotation machine (SF, XJK, GF type, etc.). Function: Removes feldspar and mica, improving SiO₂ purity. Ordinary glass sand does not require flotation, but high-purity quartz must be floated.
Pickling/Calcination (for high-purity quartz) Equipment: Pickling tank, calcination furnace, cooler. Function: Removes inclusions, gas-liquid inclusions, and trace elements. Achieves:
Industrial Grade: SiO₂ 98.5%~99.5%
High-purity Grade: SiO₂ 99.9%~99.99%+
Dehydration + Drying Equipment: Dehydration screen, dryer, cooling screen. Function: Obtains dry sand for easy packaging and transportation.
Finished Product Screening and Packaging Equipment: Finished product screen, packaging machine. Output: Quartz sand in sizes such as 20–40 mesh, 40–80 mesh, and 80–120 mesh.
