Silver ore beneficiation production line
A silver ore beneficiation production line is a complete industrial process that processes silver ore into high-grade silver concentrate. The main method is flotation, supplemented by gravity separation/cyanidation. The core steps are crushing and screening → grinding and classification → flotation separation → dewatering and drying, ultimately producing silver concentrate (with a grade of 5000–10000 g/t).
Core Process Flow (Flotation)
Crushing and Screening
Flow:
Coarse Crushing: Jaw Crusher (Raw Ore → ≤300 mm)
Medium and Fine Crushing: Cone Crusher / Impact Crusher (→ ≤40 mm)
Screening: Vibrating screen classification; qualified particles enter grinding; coarse particles are returned for further crushing (closed-loop circulation).
Equipment: Jaw Crusher, Cone Crusher, Vibrating Screen, Belt Conveyor.
Grinding and Classification (Single Liberation)
Flow:
Single-Stage Grinding: Ball Mill + Spiral Classifier / Hydrocyclone (Closed-Loop); overflow enters flotation.
Stage Grinding (Complex Ore): Coarse Grinding and Rough Separation → Regrinding and Re-separation of Coarse Concentrate to Improve Concentrate Grade and Recovery.
Equipment: Wet Ball Mill, Rod Mill, Spiral Classifier, Hydrocyclone.
Flotation Separation (Core Enrichment)
Process (Preferential Flotation / Mixed Flotation):
Pulp Preparation: Adjust the concentration (30%–40%) and pH in a stirred tank, add collectors (butylated arginium black, ethyl xanthate), modifiers (lime, copper sulfate), and frothers (pine oil, MIBC).
Roughening: One roughing stage yields a rough silver concentrate.
Scavenging: Two to three scavenging stages recover residual silver from tailings, improving overall recovery.
Cleaning: Two to three cleaning stages improve concentrate grade (up to 5000 g/t or higher).
Equipment: XCF/KYF aerated flotation machine, SF mechanically stirred flotation machine, stirred tank.
Concentrate Dewatering and Tailings Treatment
Concentrate Dewatering: Thickening in a thickener → Dewatering in a filter (plate and frame/ceramic) → Drying in a dryer to obtain a silver concentrate with a moisture content of **<10%**.
Tailings Treatment: Tailings slurry is dewatered by a thickener, then dry-piled or used for underground backfilling; recycled water is reused.
Equipment: Thickener, plate and frame filter press, ceramic filter, dryer.
Production Line Features:
High Adaptability: Suitable for independent silver mines, associated silver mines, and oxidized/sulfide ores.
High Recovery Rate: Flotation + combined process achieves 85%–95% silver recovery.
Environmentally Friendly and Controllable: Tailings dry-piling, water reuse, cyanidation process with strict closed-loop leakage prevention.
High Automation: Centralized DCS control ensures stable operation and reduces manual labor.
