Vibrationssieb
The vibrating screen is a core grading device in mining/mineral processing. Driven by a motor and vibrator, it generates periodic vibrations on the screen surface, loosening and stratifying the material. Particles smaller than the screen openings pass through, while larger particles move along the screen surface and are discharged, achieving particle size classification, dewatering, desliming, and demediuming. It is widely used in mining, metallurgy, coal, and building materials industries, and is an indispensable supporting equipment before and after crushing lines.
Equipment Structure:
Screen Box: Composed of side plates and crossbeams, it forms the skeleton of the screen body, used to mount the screen surface and withstand material impact.
Vibrator: The heart of the vibrating screen, the core component that generates the excitation force.
Screen Surface (Screen Mesh/Screen Plate): The working surface that directly contacts the material. Various forms are available, including woven wire mesh, perforated screen plates, and rubber screen plates, which can be selected according to the material particle size and operating conditions.
Vibration Damping Device: Usually a helical spring or rubber spring, used to support the screen box and isolate vibration, reducing the dynamic load on the foundation.
Transmission Device: Includes a motor and coupling (such as a tire coupling), providing power to the vibrator.
Working Principle:
Vibration Generation: The vibrating screen is powered by the vibrator. Driven by the motor, the vibrator rotates at high speed, generating a strong centrifugal force (i.e., excitation force), forcing the screen box to vibrate.
Material Segregation: The vibration of the screen box causes the material layer on the screen surface to be thrown up and loosened. In this process, small particles gradually move to the lower part of the material layer through the gaps between larger particles.
Screening Completion: Fine particles reaching the screen surface, as long as their size is smaller than the screen openings, will pass through the screen openings and fall down, becoming the undersize material; while particles larger than the screen openings continue to move forward along the screen surface and are discharged from the discharge port, becoming the oversize material.
